Procedure
Dutasteride microinjection is an innovative treatment that consists of the administration of dutasteride, a drug that works by promoting follicular growth and stopping hair loss. This drug, when injected directly into the scalp, manages to reach its maximum concentration in the place where it should act, the hair follicle or hair root.
The procedure takes about 20-30 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. It does not leave any visible marks and the patient can immediately return to their activities.
It is considered a good alternative for patients who do not wish to take oral medication.
